4 Days Luxury Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi impenetrable national park
Bwindi impenetrable national park is located in southwestern region and the only park that is blessed with half of the World’s mountain Gorillas. The national park harbors 19 habituated Gorilla families, the gorilla trekking adventure will give an opportunity to spend time with the Gorilla families which are found at Buhoma, Ruhija, Nkuringo and Rushaga.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: pick up from the airport to Bwindi impenetrable national park
At Entebbe International airport, you will meet up with the company driver who will brief you on the 4 days Safaris to Bwindi impenetrable national park and Lake Bunyonyi where you will be passing via Masaka with a stopover at Igongo Cultural center for lunch and later proceed with the journey via Ntungamo,Kabale then Bwindi impenetrable at arrival you will check in for dinner and overnight but during your travel, you will have an opportunity to view the farmlands,plantations,the beautiful landscapes and the Kigezi hills.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking
After breakfast, the driver will pick you from the lodge with packed lunch and drive to the park’s headquarters for briefing where you will be given rules and guidelines and allocation of Gorilla families which is done according to the ages of the tourists and that is when the guide will lead you to the jungle to start trekking for the different Gorilla families which takes about 30minutes-7 hours and one hour is spent with the Gorillas after being found for taking photos, videos and also watch their lifestyle, behaviors then trek back to the headquarters where you will be awarded a certificate of participation then proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you check out of the lodge where the driver will transfer you to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale District. Lake Bunyonyi is the second deepest lake in Uganda with different small bird species and this is where you will go for a boat ride to the 29 islands on the lake and this islands include the punishment Island where young girls who got pregnant before marriage were kept as a punishment to them and during the ride, you will have a great view of the birds, landscapes, taking the opportunity of taking photos.
Day 4: Departure to Kampala
After gorilla trekking and lake Bunyonyi Safaris, you will get up to a relaxed breakfast before proceeding to Kampala with a stopover at the Equator for lunch, buying of souvenirs at the craft shops and also taking photos on the point that crosses two hemispheres and later to the Airport for a flight or a place of your choice.
