What to do in Volcanoes National park? The activities that take place in the Volcanoes National Park include gorilla trekking, golden monkey tracking among others.

Gorilla trekking tours/safaris

Volcanoes National Park is one of the few areas or parks in Africa where visitors can go and see the endangered mountain gorillas. Hiking Mount Bisoke

Mount Bisoke is also a dormant volcano that can be accessed in this park. Visitors will take a day hiking this mountain the hiking safaris here are no heavy compared when hiking Karisimbi the highest. Before the activity, visitors are briefed before the activity starts.  There are porter services that help you carry some of your luggage. Visitors can also hike mount Muhabura in volcanoes national park. The volcano stands at   4,127meters and this makes it the 3rd highest Mountain in Virunga conservation areas. You will be amused by the magnificent sceneries of the green vegetation as you get the wider and clear views of Volcanoes National Park.

Vising tours to Dian Fossey Grave

Diane Fossey was the key figure in championing the research and protection of mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park. Dian Fossey established the Karisoke Research center amidst Karisimbi and Bisoke mountains where she based to carry out her research. The Musave caves are as a result of volcanic eruptions that left behind a hollow space. This place is big enough for a human being to enter into that ground cave.
