Paraa Safari lodge
This is one of the luxury accommodation facilities in Murchison Falls. It is located on the Northern banks of the Nile with 54 rooms and en-suite bathrooms. Other facilities here are large windows, a private balcony with views of the Nile. The Lodge has free parking space for the guests, WI-FI, and a restaurant. The lodge was opened in 1997 with an outdoor pool. It featured the 1951 film ‘The African Queen starring Katharine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart. This lodge is a great option for families or first-time visitors to Africa who want to experience a safari in comfort and style.
Nile Safari lodge
The lodge opened in 2017 and is eco-friendly and family-owned with fixtures that blend outside and inside. Hence offering a good experience in Uganda. Natural materials were used to build the lodge with breathtaking surroundings. The accommodation has six Deluxe Bandas, one exclusive Banda, and a family Villa.
The exclusive Banda is nice for couples and the family Villa is best for larger groups. Water is got from the Nile and filtered to drinking quality by a UV filtration system.
Pakuba Safari lodge
This is a mid-range lodge located near the Albert Nile in the northwest. It is a modern re-born of the former state lodge visited by president Idi Amin. And it is a short distance from Tangi gate of Murchison Falls National Park?
After the activities in the park, clients can cool off in the outdoor pool or sip a favorite triple at the lodge’s fully stocked bar, and during their stay at the lodge, clients have a chance to view Warthogs and Giraffes.
All rooms have a private veranda with a view of the Albert Nie,32 Double /Twin rooms, and 4 family rooms which are spacious and furnished the rooms have WI-FI, room service, charging points, reading corners, mosquito nets, and a closet.
The lodge has facilities like a swimming pool and a restaurant that serves local and international dishes.
Budongo Eco lodge
Budongo Eco lodge runs along Masindi and Paraa which are not near the Albert Nile. However have access to the beautiful birds and about 600 chimpanzees.
The Ecolodge is located 8km north of the Kichumbanyobo gate originally the research station for the Jane Goodall institutions. Although renovated to the standard of clients to have a pleasant and comfortable base to stay.
The lodge offers five comfortable cabins and four large dormitory rooms for larger groups. It showcases ancient fossils and a craft shop selling handmade gifts to commemorate your stay.
Budongo Eco Lodge offers five cozy cabins, private verandas, and ensuite bathrooms. The rooms have a shower, washbasin, and composting toilets. It has an excellent restaurant, serving a variety of international and local dishes. Also, it has a visitor’s center showcasing old fossils, local artifacts, and old poaching relics.
