3 Days Fly In Uganda Safari To Murchison Falls National Park

Rise up very early to grab your tasty breakfast at around 6:00 am and set off for the morning wildlife sighting game drive by 6:30 am. This is the best time to catch the elusive nocturnal and hunters of the park when they are still active in the park hunting and grazing such as the Leopards, Lions, Spotted hyenas, jackals, African rock python and grazing hippopotamus, on a lucky day, you many meet hunters in action which gives an amazing jungle experience. During the morning game drive, you explore other mammals  through different major park game drive trails including Giraffes, Elephants, Caped buffaloes, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, Bushbucks, Jackson’s hartebeest and oribis, some primates among others plus many bird species. After your adventurous morning game drive at around 1130 am, return to the lodge to freshen yourself, relax, have lunch and then drive to Paraa landing site to depart for an amazing afternoon boat cruise  which one of the major highlights to participate in on a safari to Murchison falls national park.

In the course of your game drive, expect to see a number of animals and birds swimming and others along the river banks including the huge crocodile, monitor lizards, bloats of hippopotamuses, caped buffaloes, Elephants and some birds such as Skimmers, Kingfishers, cormorants, red-throated bee eaters, African fish eagles and the elusive shoebill stork on a lucky day. The cruise will stop few meters to the bottom of the spectacular Murchison Falls which gives a magnificent views of the falls. After this point, get off the boat and start your hiking which takes about 45 minutes from the base to the top of the falls. This hike will offer you breathtaking views of the whole River Nile from Lake Victoria going through a tiny gorge of only 7 meters wide, becoming violent and causing a thunderous sound after dropping 43 meters into a pool and then become the most powerful falls in the world. Cool water splashes from the falls will brush on your skin making you to feel cool and there are higher chances to see the beautiful rainbow.  After the best experience of the Murchison Falls, meet your driver guide and drive back to your lodge to relax, have dinner and an overnight.

Be up early enough to have breakfast, check out and then go for second a game drive to search for more wildlife species mostly the big cats and predators like Lions, Hyenas, Civets, Leopard among others. This game drive may give you an opportunity to see those animals that you would have missed during the previous game drives. After the game, drive to the airstrip and prepare for your return flight back to Kajjansi airstrip or Entebbe international airport and this will be the end of your 3 days Uganda safari to Murchison falls national park.
