  1. Day 1 Pick up from Kampala / Entebbe – Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Visit Kasoga community

    After enjoying morning breakfast from your hotel / residence you will meet your driver guide from Vibrant Holiday Safaris at 7:00 am for a short briefing about your 3 Days Queen Elizabeth park Uganda safari and later embark on the 5-6 hours’ drive journey to Queen Elizabeth in western Uganda across the Equator. Along the way, you will have few stopovers like at the Equator landmark, the line which divides the planet into a Northern Hemisphere and a Southern Hemisphere which will be described well with an experiment of water by an expert. After the water experiment, have a cup coffee and proceed with your tour as you drive through the spectacular landscape of the Ankole region that are characterized with open grasslands, cattle farms of the Ankole long horned cattle, the Rift valley Escarpment, tea plantations,  and various woodlands. Before reaching the park, you will have another stop at Isongo cultural museum to have a delicious lunch, tour around the museum to know much about the Ankole people and how life was before thereafter, drive straight to check in at your booked Lodge in Queen Elizabeth national park to relax. Later in the evening, visit Kasoga community which is located on the suburbs of Lake George. Kasoga Community is a sensational community initiative on one of Uganda’s Ramsar sites in Hamukungu Fishing Village, on the outskirts of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Kasoga community experience offers an authentic experiences of the indigenous people to visitors in the park. Dinner and an overnight.

  2. Day 2 Queen Elizabeth National Park – Morning wildlife sighting game drive – Afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel – Evening wildlife sighting game drive

    Begin your day with a heavy breakfast, leave your lodge and drive to the park to start your early morning wildlife sighting game drive through different park trails such as the Kasenyi trail where you will have great opportunity of spotting various mammals such as Uganda Kobs, Water bucks, Elephants, Caped buffaloes, lions, warthogs as well as several bird species. Your driver guide will ensure that you spot as many wildlife species as possible and give much information about everything that you well encounter during your game drive. After the morning game drive, have a short break to relax, have lunch plus other refreshments and later depart for your afternoon 2 hours boat cruise safari along Kazinga channel the water stream which goes through the park  that connecting Lake George and Lake Edward. During the boat cruise safari, you will see a good number of both aquatic and land animals such as big schools of Hippopotamuses, crocodiles, alligators, Caped buffaloes, Elephants, Uganda kobs among others and also a collection of bird species like the malachite kingfishers, pink backed pelicans, on the banks of the channel which will be so adventurous. Thereafter your 2 hours’ boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, go for another game drive in the evening to search for more mammals mostly the big predators of the park. Dinner and an overnight.

  3. Day 3 Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kalinzu chimpanzee tracking – Return to Kampala / Entebbe

    With the superb memories of the past two days, rise up early morning to have a heavy and tasty breakfast with all luggage ready in your vehicle, check out of your room and drive to Kalinzu Forest Reserve for chimpanzee tracking. Kalinzu forest reserve is situated very close to Queen Elizabeth National Park and it is an extension of the Maramagambo forest in the park. Kalinzu forest reserve shelters a number of wildlife species such as over 379 bird species, over 200 butterfly species and there are six primate species living in this forest like Olive baboons, Red tailed monkeys, Blue monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, black and white Colobus monkeys, Vervet monkeys and chimpanzees the human close relatives sharing 98.8% human DNA. Kalinzu forest reserve is the second best destination for chimpanzee tracking in Uganda after the Kibale forest national park. During your chimpanzee tracking tour, you encounter other species. After chimpanzee tracking tour, have some time to relax and then embark on your drive back to Kampala or Entebbe airport with an en-route stopover to have lunch at Igongo cultural. This will be the end of your 3 days Queen Elizabeth park Uganda safari.
