Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is situated in the southwestern part of Uganda with an area of 321 km2 and it is a recognized World Heritage site by UNESCO. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park is a home to half of the world’s remaining population of the endangered mountain gorillas with over 450 mountain gorillas.

  1. Day 1 Pick up from Entebbe airport / any hotel in Kampala - Drive Travel to Bwindi impenetrable forest

    On your arrival at Entebbe airport or after your early morning breakfast at your hotel, Meet our company representative who will be your driver guide to be briefed about your 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking tour to Bwindi National Park and later embark on your drive to Bwindi impenetrable southwards of Uganda. The journey will offer you a variety sights of rural and semi-urban life of Uganda with several fruit & vegetable markets along the roads, craft and drum makers. You will have an en-route stop at Uganda Equator landmark at Kayabwe where you will cross to the southern hemisphere of the world to watch the water experiment, capture some memorial photos and then proceed with drive to Mbarara town for lunch and refreshments before proceeding to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park to check in at your booked lodge for dinner and an overnight. Driving time 7 – 8 hours

  2. Day 2 Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park - Mountain Gorilla trekking – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

    After having your heavy fantastic breakfast with your well packed lunch, meet your driver guide and drive to the park information center to join other visitors to be briefed about the guidelines to follow during mountain gorilla trekking walk in the forest. You will be grouped in a small group of 8 people which is allowed to meet each gorilla family per day and later start your life time forest walk to search for the mountain gorillas under guidance of the UWA guide and armed ranger. The time taken during gorilla trekking is not well known because it highly depend on the location and movements of the mountain gorilla family that you are trekking. During your forest walk, you may encounter other wildlife species that lives in the forest such as other primates, mammals, butterflies and many birds and your guide will be able to give you information about everything that you will encounter during the forest walk to search for mountain gorilla. Once you meet the gorillas, you will have a maximum of 1 hour to stay with them, taking photos and asking questions about gorillas then after the hour return to the park information center to get your certificates, have lunch and then drive to Lake Bunyonyi the deepest lake in Uganda and second deepest in Africa to spend your evening while canoeing and bird watching.

  3. Day 3 Lake Bunyonyi – Return to Entebbe airport / Kampala City

    Today after breakfast check out and drive back to Kampala city or Entebbe international airport with an en-route stop to have lunch and then proceed with your drive to Kampala or Entebbe airport and this will be the end of your trip.
