Booking with a tour operator is the most convenient and the cost of mountain climbing will include accommodation, porters, rescue mission services. Visitors will need to come with their hiking items including a hiking sleeping bag, rain court, enough snacks, and warm clothes.

Nyakalenjinja is just seventeen kilometers away from Kasese Fortportal road and 15Km in the northern park. Transportation via toad is rewarding though it’s a bit long.

It is the quickest way to reach the park and domestic flights are being arranged from Entebbe international airport or Kajjansi Airfield. Aerolink Uganda Limited and fly Uganda operate domestic flights to Kasese airstrip which few kilometers away from Rwenzori Mountain National Park.
