4 Days Murchison Falls National Park Luxury Safari

Wake up early morning (600 am) to have breakfast, check out and then drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Wildlife Ranch located in Nakasongola district the only proud home of the wild rhinos in Uganda for the white Rhino tracking experience. In the late 70’s and early 80’s Rhinos in Uganda experience faced difficult moments due to the unprecedented poaching that eventually lead to their extinction in the country up to 2005 when The Rhino Fund Uganda was formed to work in coordination with the Uganda Wildlife Authority to reintroducing White Rhinos back in Uganda and Ziwa Rhino sanctuary was set up as the safe breeding ground for rhinos to get a sizeable population and later be re-introduced back to Murchison Falls and Kidepo National Parks that were their usual home bases before they made extinct in Uganda. Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is the best place to explore Rhino where you will have an opportunity to meet them close to their feet and stay with them for a maximum of one hour therefore, you have to keep your camera well charged such that you can capture all your good moments with rhinos. After exploring Rhinos, return to starting point to have some refreshments and then proceed with your journey to Murchison Falls national with an en-route stop in Masindi town to buy some snacks and thereafter, drive straight to the park to check in at your booked lodge, have lunch and spend your afternoon relaxing at lodge as you are preparing for your night adventurous game drive to search for nocturnal animals such as Spotted hyenas, Leopards, Lions, Porcupine, Bush baby, Civet, Hippos and many others. You will also experience how wildlife animals and birds act at night such as Elephants, Buffaloes Giraffes and many antelope species. Dinner and an overnight.

Rise up very early to grab your tasty breakfast and set out for an early morning game drive for a better chance to meet the elusive nocturnal and other early grazers when they are still active in the Jungle hunting and grazing such as Lions, Leopard, grazing hippos, Spotted hyenas, Herds of elephants, Jackson’s hartebeest, Uganda kobs, Oribis, Buffaloes, Bushbucks, Waterbucks, Giraffes, Warthogs, some primate species and lots of savanna birds and beautiful sceneries you will spend more than 4 hours in the park’s incredible wildlife sighting game drive trails and your driver guide will help you to spot several wildlife species and give you much information about everything that you will encounter. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation and then later set off for the afternoon boat cruise trip along the River Nile to the bottom of the Murchison falls which gives a great experience. During your cruise on the mighty River Nile, it is undoubtable to see Hippopotamuses and the huge Nile Crocodiles in the water and on the shores, several Bird species and other wildlife on the shores of the River as they drink water and others resting and other aquatic animals. The boat will stop few meters to the bottom of the magical Murchison falls hence giving you a breath-taking views and hearing the roars of the falls. Later get off the boat for to take a hike to the Top of the falls where you will be able to see the amazing falls from a great view point of both Murchison Falls and the Uhuru Falls. From this point, you will be able to take the clear pictures of the falls and also to watch how the whole River Nile goes through a tiny gorge of only 7 meters wide which later makes it to turn violent and forming the powerful falls. Meet your driver guide plus the vehicle and drive back to your lodge to relax, dinner and an overnight.

After enjoying your hot early breakfast when all your luggage is already packed in the vehicle, check out of your lodge and set off for a hot Air Balloon Experience which is one of most exciting and memorable experience not miss on your luxury tour to Murchison Falls National Park. You will be able to view the wildlife, the vegetation and the scenic beauty of the National Park.
